For lab testing only there are a couple of ways to get a copy of Cisco Call Manager working on a none MCS, in other words running on a basic PC.

There are 3 options that I know of but I'm only going to list two of then, the 3rd option is by using Vmware and I have never tried it that way but it should be the same as the Windows 2K setup

The other two options are by using Windows 2000 advanced server with a couple of registry hacks, or by using the original Cisco CD's that came with your MCS, the easiest option is the latter because all the permissions are set-up for you
