ntl home page & webmail

Hi,
I may have missed something about NTLWorld Home & webmail, I hope not!!

I have been trying to access Emails via the NTLworld Home Page (Email icon).
Entering the email address and password returns the login page with the message
Please reenter your user name and Password

If, however I goto the webmail page & login I get to my mail.
Any suggestions on what is happening? (FW, Anti-Spyware (Spy Sweeper))

Cheers
Steve

If one way works and the other doesn't I doubt its to do with your set-up - your PC and software don't know the difference.

Unfortunately I cannot try myself but it sounds like the homepage link is dodgy.

It works fine for me. You don't use something like the Firefox web browser with the NoScript extension that is blocking JavaScript?

Browser info

I had tried Firefox after IE7 and Opera failed to allow access.

I have tried again tonight following the above comments with IE7 and Opera without success

Appreciate your comments.

I just dug out an old ntlworld e-mail address that is enabled, and it also failed on the home page but was fine on the direct webmail URL.

Interesting comment,

Is there a suggestion that the email account should have been updated at some stage?
Two other email address were setup (from this account) at more or less the same time and neither of those can be accessed either

Just logged into mine via IE7 and Firefox, both worked ok. Try deleting temp internet files, but dont think it'll be down to that as you've tried 3 different browsers.

When entering your email address and password, do you click on the button, or press Enter?

Thanks for your thoughts ...

I do Tab between User Name & Password
I had also tried clicking into each field and pressing 'Sign In' button

The Temp files are cleaned out quite regularly but well worth a try.

Cheers
