Check all the SCART leads are pushed in properly at both ends.
If that doesn't fix it, you'll have to do some fault finding to see where the problem lies... 1) Can you play back a pre-recorded DVD ok? 2) It's handy if you've got a small second TV you can move near to the V+. Use it in place of the DVD recorder and see whether you get a picture. 3) Check the DVD manual. It's possible you've selected the wrong input type on the DVD recorder - for example S-video instead of RGB 4) Try recording a DVD from another source. |

Nige,
As far as I can tell all SCART leads are secure. 1) I can play back a pre recorded DVD 2) Unable to try 3) Input type set to RGB on dvd recorder 4) Unable to try. I should mention that the V+ plus to connected to the TV via a HMDI cable. |

OK. Try composite input on the DVD recorder instead.
